It's official: we spend more time engaged with our technology (smartphones, computers, tablets) than we do sleeping, according to a new study by Ofcom.
The study found that the average person spends 8 hours and 41 minutes a day online, but only gets 8 hours and 21 minutes of sleep.
It sounds like everyone basically spends all of their time playing around on Facebook, but that's not necessarily the case as technology allows us to do more of our work away from the office. 25% of people say technology improves their work-life balance.
10% of people say they regularly check and send work e-mails while in bed.
