Amanda Bynes Could Remain In Involuntary Confinement For A Year

Last Friday, Amanda Bynes was placed on a 72-hour involuntary psychiatric hold at an L.A. hospital.  Now doctors want to keep her for up to 1 YEAR.

TMZ reports that doctors are seeking to extend Amanda's treatment period with an "LPS Hold" that would allow them to confine her and force her to take medication.

This latest turns of events comes after Amanda took to twitter last week and accused her father of sexually abusing her.  She then denied the accusation, blaming a "microchip" in her brain.  Her parents then had to lure her to L.A., where they took her to the mental facility.
