You're Invited To Martha Stewart & Snoop Dogg's Dinner Party!

It's not that I can't believe this is happening, it's that my heart is bursting with happiness that it is.

In what most people would think is an unlikely friendship, Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg are actually very good friends. Now they're looking to take their friendship to the next level, hosting a new show on VH1 called Martha & Snoop's Dinner Party.

Rolling Stone shares some of the commentary in the statements that Martha and Snoop released:

"At our dinner party, we will exemplify America's fascination with food, entertaining and celebrity," Stewart said in a statement. "Martha & Snoop's Dinner Party will redesign the traditional food competition shows in a new, different and very funny way."

"My homegirl Martha and I have a special bond that goes back," added Snoop Dogg. "We're gonna be cooking, drinking and having a good time with our exclusive friends. Can't wait for you to see how we roll together!"

Though Rolling Stone says that Snoop and Martha met in 2015, they are actually mistaken. Snoop Dogg joined Martha Stewart multiple times on her TV show, where they baked brownies (not the special ones from what we know) and also mashed potatoes. They've got a good chemistry going - and Martha has already learned how to moderate herself around Snoop's "habitual"-ness.
